Living Local Chromascope by Mohawk Group

Color is relevant in supporting physical and emotional well-being, aiding restoration, and healing. Following a turbulent start to the decade, we are entering a period of uncertainty and consumers’ habits are changing. It’s time to step back and re‐evaluate what is most important, as people will seek nourishing, meaningful, reassuring, and healing colors.

Color is responding in two ways.

Now more than ever we are relying on the digital world for our visual and creative stimulation. With limited access to travel and cultural events, we are seeing a shift to brighter colors being used in interiors mimicking the captivating, saturated imagery that we are seeing online. Bright hues are being used to create interiors that heighten our energy and uplift our spirits.

Biophilic design continues to be of importance as recreation, relaxation, and repose are all moving outdoors. We are all seeking a return to nature to ground us and keep us healthy. Personal space has become more valuable and we are reinventing outdoor space to serve as safe havens.

Chromascope follows this course by celebrating a diverse set of hues that can heighten your creative energy with shocks of bright color or ground you safely with the natural colors of the earth.
