Tapid by Durkan

While a single polka dot feels like an obscure light emerging from a haze, a combination of many dots creates an army of energy and fluctuating rhythm. This is shown in the vibrant and aggressive Täpid Collection, by Yelena Rodina, with its passionate interaction between color, form, and history. Täpid’s abstract collection of polka dots generates a sense of nostalgia with its Russian avant-garde and bright pop-art color references. We stenciled white dots onto dazzling textured patterns to evoke the infinite feeling of stars in a night sky.
